Purpose
The Morning Brief can surface changes and questions worth reviewing, but it should not be marketed as a self-running analyst.
Use it as a review layer:
- What changed?
- Was the change material?
- Should the team investigate?
- Is there an exportable receipt?
Evidence Standard
A brief item becomes decision-ready only after evidence is attached:
- Calculation used
- Source context
- Source path
- Row counts where available
- Generated time
- Reproducibility status
Empty States
If no meaningful change is detected, say that plainly. Silence is better than invented insight.
