Welcome
Adequate Data lets business teams ask plain-English questions against supported sources and inspect the source query, result data, and receipt for supported answers.
This guide focuses on the trust workflow:
- A business person asks a concrete data question
- The system returns a clear answer
- The answer shows the source, filters, calculations, and assumptions used
- The result can be exported as a receipt when it needs to travel
Public Access
Public signup is intentionally limited. The best starting point is the proof-trail demo or a design partner walkthrough.
Use the demo when you want to see:
- The question
- The answer
- Source context
- Filters and row counts
- Calculation used
- Where the number came from
- What is verified and what is not verified
Quick Start
Fastest path:
Step 1: Open the demo
Go to the proof trail demo.
Step 2: Review the answer
Read the result first, then inspect the supporting detail.
Step 3: Inspect the evidence
Review the calculation used, source file, filters, row count, source path, data fingerprint, query fingerprint, and evidence pack ID.
Step 4: Export the receipt
Download the sample receipt and confirm what it proves and what it does not prove.
Good Business Questions
Use questions that name the subject, period, filter, or comparison.
Examples:
- "Who were the top 10 users of our asset library last month?"
- "Which assets were downloaded the most by sales?"
- "Why did software spend increase in April?"
- "Which reps created the most pipeline this quarter?"
- "Which customers submitted the most urgent support tickets?"
- "What changed since last month?"
Avoid vague prompts like "show insights" when the goal is an auditable explanation.
