Why "Adequate"?
In the pilot episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Commander Riker asks Lt. Commander Data if he is ready for the mission. Data responds: "I shall endeavor to function adequately, sir."
That is the philosophy: do what is needed, do it well, and do not oversell. Adequate Data is not magic. It is a practical workflow for turning a business question into a clear answer with source context, filters, calculations, assumptions, and auditable proof.
